  • Where is the site located?

    Our park is near the cliffs to the east of Whitby, it’s just half a mile on foot to the top of the Abbey steps, and just under a mile by road to the town. Look out for the Stoupe Cross Farm sign at the top of our driveway, off Hawsker Lane.

  • Where is the nearest shop/pub?

    There are a number of shops and pubs nearby, within one to two-mile radius.

  • Do you have a children’s play area?

    Yes, we have a small children’s playground on site.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Yes, this is a dog-friendly site. One dog per home is permitted in our rental accommodation, with the exception of Swallow, which is pet-free

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in is from 2.30pm, check-out by 10am.

  • Do you have free wi-fi?

    Free wi-fi is available in our rental holiday homes. A wi-fi charge for home owners is included in our annual site fees.

  • Is the site suitable for people with disabilities?

    The site is not really suitable for people who have mobility problems.

  • Do you sell holiday homes?

    Yes, we usually just have a small number of caravans for sale. Call us to find out what’s currently available.

  • Do you have any homes available to rent?

    Yes, we have two cottages available to rent on our site. Contact us for availability.

  • Are you open all year round?

    No, our site opens on 1st March until 31st October. The cottages are available to rent from April to the end of October, and the holiday homes are available to rent from April to the end of September.

  • Do you offer camping or touring facilities?

    We are unable to accommodate tents or motorhomes/campervans/dormobiles. We do have some seasonal pitches for touring caravans but vacancies are rare – please contact us with any enquiries.
